Our Emergency Department provides the highest quality of emergency care. Recently expanded, the ED has 33 exam/treatment rooms designed with privacy and comfort in mind.
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Our Emergency Department is staffed by physicians 24 hours a day. Our staff in the ED treats approximately 70,000 patients per year for a wide variety of ailments, ranging from ear infections to broken bones to heart attacks.
ExpressCare
At Memorial Hospital Jacksonville, we've built a special Memorial ExpressCare facility as part of our emergency department with 13 patient rooms, x-ray and lab capabilities to provide you with a comfortable place to get medical attention for minor ailments or injuries. Memorial ExpressCare is designed to meet your everyday medical needs, but with all the backup and support of a full-service Emergency Department.
ExpressCare is considered an emergency room visit by most insurance companies and will be billed accordingly.
We are open 24 hours a day, every day. No matter when you need us, you'll have the confidence of knowing you'll receive a high level of care by board certified doctors.
