Heart & Chest Pain Center
Memorial Hospital’s Heart Center is a state-of-the-art facility with a team of cardiologists, nurses and technicians trained in rapid response and treatment of heart attacks. The Center has its own entrance and waiting room for fast and easy access. We perform various procedures including simple diagnostic heart catheterization, pacemaker placements, defibrillator implantation, balloon angioplasty and intracoronary stent deployments. Our Cardiac Catheterization Lab offers the best in technology and skilled physicians in the region and we have the first certified Chest Pain Center on the First Coast.
The Heart Center is now one of the largest dedicated cardiac centers in northeast Florida, with over 10,000 patients treated annually. Other services include the HEART fitness program, PET/CT scan, a non-invasive procedure that detects early heart disease, and a Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center designed exclusively to restore cardiac patients to their optimal state of health.
